The product represents the latest mechanical coupling technology for connecting a variety of diameter pipes. The connect range can be from DN40 and DN2000. The customer has some special requirements of the product can also be designed and produced to meet Customer’s need. The simplicity and versatility of this product make them suitable for many applications including pumping stations, water purification plants, sewage treatment plants, plant rooms, instrument rooms, power generation equipment, gas stations and all pipelines.
Universal coupling is well suited for the installation of the flange pipe line, one end connecting the flange plate, the other end connecting socket pipe. Install easily and remove conveniently. Because of the large diameter of the pipe connected to the product, the line is allowed to have a±6ºdeviation when connecting the pipeline so that the normal movement of the pipe (such as ground subsidence, etc.). It can be used in the large bending radius pipeline caused the deviation. Product design and manufacture according to BS,EN,ISO,9001:2008 system and surface anti-corrosion material through the most stringent WRAS certification, so it can be used for drinking water.
Universal coupling coated with WRAS certified epoxy. For this anticorrosion coating, we provide excellent protection from transportation, storage, on-site and corrosion damage. We provide EPDM, NBR, SBR, nuts and bolts for carbon steel or stainless steel and long-term rust protection. Because this product can be connected to different pipe diameter of the pipeline, it can reduce the customer’s investment in the inventory.
Step 1.Check if the components of the product have been lost in transport and check for damage to the product surface.
Step 2. Clean the surface of the pipe spigot. The length is the half of the joint length.
Step 3. Check the product surface of the sealing ring and make sure that the surface is free of cracks and deformations which will interfere with the surface sealing effect of rubber ring.
Step 4.Draw an equal reference point on spigot end of pipe, which is half the length of the coupling joint, and calculate from the spigot end.
Step 5. Place a press pad at each pipe reference point.
Step 6. Apply the lubricant to the tube, The ramp is tilted toward the pipe end.
Step 7. Put the apron and robber on the tube, The ramp is toward the pipe end.
Step 8. Insert the middle sleeve into the pipe.
Step 9.The two connecting socket tubes should be parallel, axial alignment. When connecting, there is a gap of 5mm-10mm between the two socket pipes.
Step 10.Move the sleeve to ensure that the center of the sleeve is at the center of the spigot and socket pipe, and the distance between the two pipes is equal. The rubber ring is moved to the bell mouth of the sleeve.
Step 11.Move two end apron to the position of robber and align the bolt holes apron.
Step 12.Insert the bolt into the bore and tighten the bolt. The bolt shall be tightened alternately.
The nut shall be tightened according to the dimension of the bolt and the torque. After piping is pressurized, check if leakage caused by improper installation and settle it.
COMMON INSTALLATION PROBLEMS
1. The bolt is not tight to meet the requirement torque.
2. A rock or fragment between a pipe and a gasket.
3. Dirt on bolts or nuts.
4. The distance between the spigot and the pipe is placed according to the requirement.
5. The two socket tubes are not parallel. Or not the same axis.

Pressure rating PN6, PN10, PN25, Class 125, Class 150. Size range from DN40 to DN3000 (1-1/2" to 120").
